ARC is first a Christian family club, parent sponsored & student run, second, a home school speech & debate club. We have found that many home school families are looking for learning experiences that their entire family can do together. This is our goal. Although we concentrate on our 12-18 year-olds, the under 12 year-olds have 4 speech events they can compete in, as well as Novice Team Policy Debate and they can time events. Parents and adult children learn right along with their children, can critique speeches and debates, judge, teach, encourage, cook, and volunteer in a host of tasks when the club sponsors an event such as a tournament, conference or workshop.

2005-2006 Lincoln Douglas Debate Topic: "Resolved: that the media's right to protect confidential sources is more important than the public's right to know."
